I recently discovered "Conceive" magazine and found some really helpful articles in the issue I read. One of the articles was about how to save money on fertility drugs. If anyone is interested, post here and I'll give more info.

Also, if you've never looked at that magazine, it's a good one. However, many of the advertisements have pictures of babies and pregnant women, so be warned before you check it out. If that's going to bother you, I don't recommend it.

Rhonda, I will try to find it. I honestly have no idea if I still have it, but I'll look. You may want to check and see if Conceive magazine has a website (I bet they do). They might have it posted. If I can't find the article, I'll try to look into that.

The article is in the summer 2007 issue. I searched for the article and found it on their website. Here is a link: http://www.conceiveonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=75&Itemid=137

I hope it works.

OK, I don't even know if anyone is reading this forum but I found out another tidbit.

See if your doctor can prescribe Gonal F instead of Follistim. My pharmacy recommended this switch to my doctor and he agreed. It saved me about $1000.

I also assumed that my insurance didn't cover any of the meds. I was lucky that the pharmacy checked anyways because I was wrong. My insurance covered the antibiotics for myself and my husband as well as the steroids. It never hurts to let them check it out.
