My name is Cheryl, and I guess I will start by giving you the "short" version of my story. My husband and I started TTC in November 2002. After not ovulating for several months, my doctor started running tests. We found out that I had Hypothyroidism and my husband had a Vericosele (sp). So we tried Synthroid and Clomid (for me) and surgery (for him). About 1 1/2 years had passed and still no conception. We visited a specialist and tried Clomid, Letrizole, IUI's, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, and finally super ovulation (shots). Last June, using SO and IUI, I got pregnant with twins. Everything was fine until November, when I unexplainalby went into labor at 23 weeks. Parker and Riley were born, both weighing a little over a pound, on November 14, 2006. They lived abot 2 hours.

After they were born, I was hopeful that I would be magically "fixed" and wouldn't need any more "help" to get pregnant. I was wrong. We went back to the specialist and with the help of SO and an IUI, I am pregnant again, due at the end of Feb 2008. I pray every day that the results will be different this time. This time, we are anticpating only one baby, but we won't find out for a couple of weeks. I know that God has a plan in mind for me, and pray that for this baby, my vision and God's are the same.

Congratulations on your pregnancy as well! I pray that we both have healthy pregnancies. I definitely want to keep in touch throughout and see what your doctor says too. I was just released from Dr. P. and I see my regular OB on the 23rd, so hopefully I will know more then.

Just wanted to say congrats to both Cheryl and Heather on your pregnancies! It is just so awful to hear about women losing so many babies, but when we finally get our wish it will be so much more rewarding because it didn't come easy! Remember ladies, anything worth having is worth fighting for so keep on fighting for what you want and in due time it shall come to pass!! Keep us posted!
