I have just started my first cycle since I stopped bleeding from the miscarriage. We are supposed to wait 3 cycles but we are ready to start trying now. So cross your fingers and say a Prayer for us this month. Thanks

My prayers are with you and your husband as you try again but I would ask that you consider waiting the three months. I had have had two miscarriages in the past year and both times the doctor asked me to wait for three cycles. The first time I was so overwhelmed with grief that I could not stand the idea of not being pregnant anymore so I didn't wait... and each time that I did not conceive did nothing but push me further and further into depression. When I did finaly conceive again I was still a total wreck. Doctors don't tell you to wait purely for physical reasons...you have to allow yourself to heal emotionally as well. Besides the physical pain of having a miscarriage this is the MOST difficult part. Three months is not a magic number and it may seem like just another statistic that the doctors rattle off but trust me...I have a friend that waited 6months before she felt okay to try again. I know how hard it is to wait...I have just starting trying again after my most recent one in April. Trying again is scary but no matter what you decide to do please know that there is hope and I will be praying for you.
