I have had four AB pregnancy's my last two the doctors had an "answer" to the problem. So of course they put me on a "treatment" which in the end failed and i lost my baby. I found out i have a factor 5 leiden mutation which causes me to clot, so i was taught to give myself shots in my belly everyday. after doing this for a month (10 weeks pregnat) i went in for my ultrasound to find no movement. Once this passed and i went in to follow up. The doctor told me with the factor 5 issue and my antibodies(i have hypothyroidism) that i would not be able to carry a child. How easy it came out of the doctors mouth like it was nothing. this to a 23y/o woman who has already known so much loss. as i usualy carry to the beginning of the second trimester and then the baby dies. Sometimes i wish the doctors would just tell me they dont know instead of being quick to tell me what is wrong.. so sad

Oh, Katrina, I'm so very sorry for your losses. And to have to deal with insensitive doctors on top of all that. I hope you will find the support you are looking for here.

Katrina,
Don't let pig headed doctors get you down. There are many good doctors out there that are compassionate and will keep it real with you. Alot of them have never been in that situation and don't know how to approach it tactfully. I hate that you have been through all of this but you know no matter what time of the day or night you have a friend that is there for you with a shoulder to cry on. Don't give up until you want to give up. God has a plan for you and your family. Keep him number one in your life and he will bless you. I know this is hard. Believe me I know. Just take one day at a time. You will be in my prayers.
