Hello all, I have not been on here much since my last miscarriage but feel a need to share what is going on. After two consecutive miscarriages (10/12/07 and 1/21/08) I went through lots of tests and everything came back normal. I was seeing a RE. She put me on Clomid and did ovulatory monitoring. We had a positive test in the first cycle. I went today for my 6 wk sono and they discovered that the baby has implanted in the corner of my uterus near where the tube connects to it. It is called a cornual pregnancy, it is a form of ectopic pregnancy. The doctor said it is extremely rare and I got the impression she had not seen one before. She asked me to come back on Monday (today is Thursday) and I will see another Dr. at the RE clinic. I was told he has had a patient or two with this problem. She did not give me much info but did indicate that there is a small chance the pregnancy could make it as it is a little lower than most cornuals. The scary part (well, one of many) is that if it ruptures it could damage my tube and I only have one due to a previous ovarian cyst surgery where they had to remove the other one.
I would ask that anyone and everyone please pray. Pray first and foremost for a miracle...that God would up and move the baby to a safe place in my uterus...something that only he could do. At this point that is my hope. God is still God no matter what the doctors may say. He still works medical miracles, we hear about them every day.
Also if anyone has had a cornual pregnancy, could you please tell me about your experience. I really don't have much of an idea of what the protocol is if they determine it is not viable...they gave me very little info to go on.

Mindy,
I have just been recently able to pray after my 2nd trimester miscarriage and D&E in March, but I am praying fervently for you, your baby and family.

Mindy,
I am praying right now that the Lord takes this baby in His hands and protects it until it is ready to be born. I am also praying for your body's health and that your tube will remain intact and clear.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through these trials! I am starting to believe and have faith that God has a purpose for all that we have to endure, though. Even if He does not ordain what the enemy does, He can redeem it and use it to grow us! Mainly...He will Redeem us!!! I declare this for you! Also, His word says that "those who trust in the Lord shall not be disappointed". I claim that for you, as well!!!
I feel lead to remind you of Psalm 91. I pray that you and your baby will be protected under God's wings. I pray that God will command His angels concerning you (and your baby), that they will lift you both up and protect you from even hitting your foot against a stone. Pray that no harm will befall you and no danger will come near your tent (nor anyone who dwells there). I pray for great peace and comfort for you and I lift your whole family up during this time.
Be blessed and try to rest!!! I feel that plenty of good rest, positive thinking and faithful prayer are needed during this time. We can help with the praying, but we can't rest or think for you (although we are here to encourage). I believe in miracles! I believe He can move your baby to exactly where he or she needs to be for both of you to be perfectly safe!!! I request this of our Father in Heaven and remind Him that He says in His word that when two or more come together in prayer, He is there. I ask all of this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
My heart and prayers go out to you. Please keep us informed and know that you are not alone in your journey. You have sisters in Christ supporting you!!!

Lisa, you are so right, He does have a purpose through all of this...we may not see it now, but it is there. Thank you so much for your encouraging words and prayers. It is so humbling to know that women all over the country who do not even know me personally, are praying for me and my baby. I am doing my best to stay positive but it is so hard at times. I am believing in a miracle, and if not I know that God has other plans. My arms ache to hold a child and I pray with all of my heart that it will be this one. With faith like a mustard seed we can move mountains...or babies.

I just wanted to thank all of you who prayed for a miracle with me, and most of all I want you to know our prayers were answered!!! When we went back for our follow up sono the baby had moved to a safe place!! It truly is a miracle! My husband and I could not believe it! We were speechless and in awe. Because I saw a different doctor this time, he didn't even realize at first that I was the patient that was referred to him for a cornual pregnancy! That is how much the baby had moved! It was no where near the corner of my uterus anymore!! Praise the Lord! We go back again this week for a follow up sono and are of course still praying like crazy for this baby's life. We've lost two before this and are aching for a baby to hold. We believe in faith that this little one is blessed by God and that if He was willing to work a miracle by moving the baby inside of my uterus then He has the will and power to bring him/her into this world! Thank you again to all who prayed in faith with us, know that your prayers were heard by our most powerful God!! Please keep praying for this tiny baby inside of me!!

There are tears falling from my eyes right now!!! I really needed to read this!!! I couldn't be happier for you!!! Oh...Thank you Lord!!!
I have had such a rocky week that I feel now that I must repent for my attitude towards God. He answered our prayers...and I am so very grateful!!!
Lord, I come with a heart of praise and gratitude and I lift up Mindy and her husband and thank you Lord for what you have done for them!!!
Lord I pray you will indeed complete this miracle with a perfectly healthy baby for Mindy and her husband to hold, love raise and enjoy watching grow all the days of their lives. Lord, we cry out for your mercy and kindness and all that is good and ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. God, please forgive my anger and pain. I clearly am reminded of how good you still are! Amen!

I am glad that you were able to be blessed by this miracle as well. My hope is that many are blessed by it and that God's kingdom is furthered because of it. Lisa, thank you so much for your love and sincerity, it is so touching. I will be sure to keep you updated on how things are going. We are going back tomorrow for another sono, so I'm just praying that everything is still perfect.

Thank you and yes, please keep us posted! I want to know how you and your precious baby are! Don't lose your great faith and hope, it will further His kingdom!!! It has continued to draw me closer to Him. Sometimes you just need to see His miracles!!! I pray fervently that things remain perfect and there are no more complications at all!!!
