| I have an HSG scheduled for tomorrow and will be having a saline sonogram Thursday. If anyone can tell me what to expect, that would be great. I've never had either. |

How did the HSG go today? I hope it wasn't too bad. I had that several years ago, but from what I remember, it felt a little like bad cramps. I think Paula said that when she had hers, they didn't tell her to take some kind of pain reliever before hand, so she had a lot of pain. I don't know, maybe I just blocked it out!?!
I don't think I have ever heard of a saline sonogram. What is that? Do they do it in the Dr's office, or someplace else?
We are praying for you!
Are you going to MEND on Thurs?

Hey, Cheryl! You are in my thoughts and prayers as well. My HSG wasn't bad at all. I have a funny story about it that I can tell you guys at the meeting tonight. Sorry I missed on Thursday! The one night it didn't rain, so Rob was playing tennis. I'm absolutely determined to be there next month, though!
My saline sonogram was put off. My doc has me on bcp right now, which sure feels weird. I guess that was to buy us more time to do the sono. I expect to hear from his office today and they will probably schedule it for tomorrow. I think it will just be a matter of days after that before surgery is scheduled, b/c I just have a feeling they're going to find all kinds of things to remove. Haha! I'm ready to get this show on the road, though. *sigh*

I HAD MY SALINE SONOGRAM DONE ON MONDAY JULY 14,2008
AND IT JUST FELT LIKE A BAD CRAMP IT WASNT BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ALOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW SAY IT HURTS REALLY BAD BUT I THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE DOCTOR YOU GO TO AND IM SCHEDULE TO DO MY HSG AUGUST 11,2008 IM REALLY SCARED BECUZ ALOT OF WOMEN SAY ITS THS WORST TEST THAT THEY HAVE EVER DID IM REALLY ALONE WITH THIS NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO MY EMAIL IS MCDONALD5302006@HOTMAIL.COM |

Sonia,
Don't be scared. I've had both done. The HSG was more uncomfortable than the saline sonogram, but it still feels just like cramps. Ask if you can take a mild pain reliever beforehand to ease the discomfort.
